Meet your Sitter
I personally work for you to find the best sitter match for your family. After the sitter is assigned you can meet her virtually and even chat online to ask questions or give details about your family.
Our goal is to make the entire process as seamless as possible for you and we handle the rest!
Activities and Fun
Your sitter will arrive at your home with activities and games prepared for your children's preferences and ages. We have seen how exciting it is when the professional sitter arrives on your doorstep with their bag full of activities.
When you book a regular event, talk to me about preschool and school aged activities that can be purchased on a monthly basis.
SeekingSitters service is designed to help your on-the-go family! Over 40% of weekly filled requests are made last minute or with under 7 day’s notice. Your monthly service fee will be activated at the time of the request.
Booking and Cancellations
A non-refunable reservation amount will be charged at the time of the booking. This reservation amount is applied towards the final job total. 48 hours prior to the event, the full fee for the scheduled event will be charged and cannot be refunded after this time.
A cancellation fee will apply for any event that has been scheduled with a professional sitter.
Gratuity
Gratuity is not required but is highly suggested. The amount is at the discretion of the member.
The gratuity can be added directly to the ticket at the end of the event.
Payment Method
In order to help ensure the validity of our families, SeekingSitters only accepts credit or debit card payment for all babysitting services. Credit card accounts must be in the name of one of the SeekingSitters member and registered to the address of the babysitting event.
Please note that all transactions are processed through SeekingSitters online payment processing vendor, OBT (Online Business Transactions) and your credit card statement will reflect OBT 1(800) 557-5189.
Extended Driving Area
A $10.00 destination charge per event applies for families in the extending driving area and the fee is paid directly to your sitter. This is not a mileage compensation.
Please contact SeekingSitters regarding details of extended driving areas. All driving arrangements must be made directly with your sitter.
Overnight Babysitting Help
SeekingSitters can accommodate just about any situation that you might need babysitting help: Overnight stays, Weekend help, Sitter accompaniment on vacations.

Group Events
Certified Sitters can be scheduled to help ease your special event by caring for the children so the adults can relax. The website has an easy registration process for no additoinal charge. Sitters arrive with activities for the children or can coordinate with your event planner. Weddings, Conferences or Parties are just some of the ways to utilize group event services.

Barbra has watched my children a couple times now and is more than wonderful! I have a 10 month old and feel 110% comfortable leaving him under her supervision. She's so motherly with him. My 7 year old is also very fond of Barbra. They always do crafts and last time Barbra and Emma baked caked pops (which was a perfect activity and treat).

I just wanted to email you to thank you for assigning Laura M. to our family last evening. The boys had a great night! She played w/ them all evening, and they baked Lego Cakes because our boys love Lego (she even brought all her own ingredients!!!!) The boys went to bed on time, and there was no TV or Wii. Krista did an awesome job sitting for my almost 3 year old! When he woke up Saturday morning, he told me that he wanted more Krista! This was our first time using SeekingSitters, but we were very impressed. Our son had a wonderful time, the toys were all picked up when we got home, and he was sound asleep in bed!

Angie was awesome! It was a really long day and the first time the boys had been at home with a sitter for over 8 hrs. I was worried they might get a little cabin fever, but they had a blast. They said they had a great day and had so much fun. As with all the sitters I've had from SeekingSitters, they come in with so many fun ideas to keep the kids happy, energetic, and fully engaged!

Alex was the greatest. She sat for our son Zachary overnight and she did a wonderful job! We have 4 children(2,9,11,15) with Zachary being our youngest and this was the first time we left him overnight with someone other than family. This was the first time that anyone (with any of the 4 childrens sitting experiences) showed concern and asked about separation anxiety issues with Zachary. He doesnt have any but I was so impressed that Alex took the time to make sure it would be a pleasant transition for us leaving our little guy! Alex is wonderful and we will definitely have her back for more sitting time in the future!
Beth was the first sitter for our family from SeekingSitters. I will admit that I was a little nervous trusting my children to a person that I just met. I have 3 children ranging in age from 5 to 11. This is the first time that I came home and all 3 kids asked to have Beth again. There is always one that does not like the sitter. She did a wonderful job of sharing attention with all of the kids. She was also able to keep them active and engaged for the day. Thank you Beth, you are a wonderful sitter.
I would like to leave feedback for Justina since she's one of our favorites! I was running late leaving the house with the toddler mid-bath and she jumped right in and started helping out. I appreciate her initiative and sweet heart. My kids have a great time with her and I feel 100% comfortable when leaving.
Krista did an amazing job while watching William and Jacob! She arrived a few mins early and did lots of fun things with the boys. Both boys woke up the next morning asking if I had her number, and when she could come back. William wanted me to call her right away to see when she could come back again. So a big thank you from the Becker Family. We haven't had a baby sitter in soooo long; it was way overdue and much appreciated. Just want to say how delighted and thrilled I was with the help from Lindsay and Beth on Saturday at Blodwyns party. They were so calm and helpful, and just worked so hard in the background to keep the party going. I hardly had to ask them to do anything. Hi I am Hannah and I am 9yrs old. Alex M. babysat me and my sister. Alex is the best babysitter ever because we played a bunch of games, such as apples to apples, hide n seek, wii and we talked a lot about movies and animals. That is how Alex was amazing.

Our kids absolutely adored Lindsay! They did puzzles, games, made balloon animals, etc. The kids had so much fun! We arrived home to both the kids asleep in bed and the house picked up and quiet. Lindsay even left a little thank you note to the kids which they found when they woke up in the morning. We'd love to have her babysit for us again!
Being new to the area, I was quite nervous about finding a reliable and trustworthy sitter for my daughter, 4, and son, 1. I was thrilled when I found the great service of SeekingSitters and even more impressed when I met Justina. Justina was professional and prepared with games and fun plans for my kids. Barbara was very hands on with both children and caring. This was the first time anyone outside our family babysat our children and they were very comfortable with Barbara or as my daughter would say barbie.
